As a child Crystal was involved in one art project after another, she went on to graduate from the Colorado University with a degree in art. Above and to the left is a 14k Gold Turquoise Pendant created by Crystal Hartman. This beautiful piece features a spiderwebbed Turquoise Mountain Turquoise gemstone from the Kingman Turquoise Mine located near Kingman, Arizona. Crystal is known for her exceptional wax carving which is unusual from any other you will see, you will find vines, floral sprays, grapes all in a free form style. To the right above is another fabulous Turquoise Pendant in Gold created by Crystal Hartman featuring a beautiful Bisbee Turquoise gemstone. The Bisbee Mine is located near Bisbee, Arizona and stopped producing Turquoise in the late 1970's. Above and to the left is a spectacular lost wax carved Blue Wind Turquoise Pendant in Gold created by John Hartman of Durango, Colorado. This is a fantastic work of art by John, Blue Wind Turquoise is very rare and very valuable as the deep blue Turquoise with jet black spider web matrix is unmatched by any other Turquoise, it is awesome. The Turquoise stone is accented by a 4 carat Sugilite gemstone set in the bale of the pendant.
Above and to the right is a unique 14ky Gold backed with Sterling Silver Turquoise Pendant that was also made by John. The Turquoise Gemstone is from the Paiute Mine located near Austin, Nevada - Paiute Turquoise is very valuable and highly collected in Japan and most recently China. Above and to the left is a lime green colored Carico Lake Turquoise Pendant set in 14ky Gold, created by John Hartman. Carico Lake Turquoise in from Nevada, USA - it produces many color ranges from beautiful blue to lime green hues and occaisionally two tone greens and blues mixed together, it is fantastic. This type of Gold work is considered lost wax work. Jewelers wax is carved with special jewelers tools and than the wax carvings are cast in Gold.
Above and to the right is a bench made yellow Gold Turquoise Pendant that was handmade by John Hartman. All of the elements of this piece were made out of gold sheet and wire that was hand forged and tooled to complete this one-of-a-kind piece. John has been a master goldsmith since 1972, he is capable of producing most any style of gold work, his designs are remarkable. John cuts most all of the Turquoise, as well as gemstones, he uses in is silver and gold jewelry.
