When most people think of Turquoise they think of baby blue, the color of a beautiful sky blue, with a slight tint of green, but mostly blue. This mine definitely produces this color of natural gemstone, and it is the majority of what the Arizona mine produces. So, when people think of the "Sky Stone" they think of Sleeping Beauty color. Many customers have comment to us that the material from this mine when cut is so perfect that it almost looks unreal or plastic like. This is really the only mine that consistently used to produce material that would compete with old style Persian material.
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise is sky blue or Robin's egg blue which has been the epitome of Turquoise since the ancient years when this gemstone was discovered, over 7,500 years ago.
