We, John & Estell Hartman, have been Traders to the Navajo for most of our lives. We built and ran our Trading Company just west of Durango Colorado in 1977. In our early years, we dealt in pre 1900 Cowboy & Indian Items, Early Frontier Firearms & Western Antiquities. John spent years buying out old Trading Posts such as Chilchimbito, Tsegi, Wide Ruins, Ojato, Fort Defiance & others as they modernized in the 1980's. At one point, John had one of the finest Vintage Turquoise Jewelry collections in the American Southwest. We still appreciate and hunt for good old memoribilia.
