Bisbee Ribbon Turquoise is rarely seen and Bisbee Ribbon Turquoise Cabochons are nowhere! Maybe 1% of Johns Bisbee Turquoise collection produces Bisbee Ribbon stones. John and Estell Hartman began collecting Bisbee Turquoise when they were in their teens, in the late 1960's, in fact John bought Estell's first piece of Bisbee Jewelry from his Taos Indian friend when she was 15 years old - it was a Bisbee Turquoise Bracelet with about 75% chocolate brown smoky matrix with pools of medium blue Turquoise. Bisbee Turquoise was scarce then!
John and Dillon still cut their rare Bisbee Turquoise cabochons today on a small scale and offer them to collectors and the trade on their Rare Bisbee Turquoise Cabochons Page.
