Looking in for that American Turquoise statement piece that will be an icon in your Turquoise Jewelry collection? Take a look at this breath taking Victorian style Sterling Silver and High Grade Paiute Turquoise Pendant by John Hartman. The focal point of this piece is a large teardrop cabochon of deep bluel and red spiderweb Paiute Turquoise from Nevada, USA. This gem stone was cut by the famed Tony Cotner (Owner of the Damele and Paiute mines). We purchased this from Tony as he was our personal friend. The gem is top grade and is unsurpassed in color and matrix pattern. This is some of the highest grade of Turquoise that ever came from the Paiute mine. The gem is set into the fanciful Sterling Silver amulet with a heavy gauge handmade Sterling silver bezel and surrounded with a rope or cable design. The outside of the piece is accented with fancy repose, filigree and botanical designs. The back of the Heirloom Paiute Turquoise Pendant is textured like sandstone and features overlay Victorian vine designs. This piece has a nice large sized bale that will accept all sizes of silver chain, leather, or a silver collar. This bale can be re-shaped to fit beads as well. Artisan handmade in Durango, Colorado USA, this piece features the American Jewelry hallmark “Durango Silver .925 J. Hartman”.
The stone measures : 1 3/8 inches long X 13/16 inch wide. The pendant total length is 3 1/4 inches long ( including the bale ) X 1 3/8 inches wide.
