Here is a really great vintage 1970’s handmade Sterling Silver hinged breast plate necklace. This awesome Hopi Overlay Breast Plate Necklace is nicely thick and sturdy, yet not too heavy. You can tell this is a vintage piece by the quality and thickness of the silver. This piece features a scene with a mud head dancer in the middle, pueblo buildings and wind designs. The background is a beautiful hand stamped design that looks like hair on the mud heads buns. Amazing how much time went into hand stamping the back ground texture. This is a great piece of Vintage Hopi Jewelry and is stamped Sterling and hallmarked “R with two lines in the center”.
