Take a look at this one of a kind handmade Sterling Silver amulet. The focal point of this large Elongated Sugilite and Silver Amulet by Navajo Jewelry artisan Verdy Jake is a larger triangle shaped cabochon of natural Sugilite from the Wessel’s mine in South Africa. Sugilite is hard to come by these days, especially in this size. This hand cut cabochon is a deep purple and features beautiful character. The gem has beautiful black manganese matrix and orange to red bustamite patterns. The large cab is set into the handmade Sterling Silver amulet with a classic bezel and surrounded with a round wire design. To the outside of the round wire design is a filed wire design and raindrop design. The top of the Sugilite and Silver Pendant is accented with a spiral wire design. The amulet hangs from a nice size bale that is large enough to handle any size of silver chain, leather, silver collar or Omega chain. American Indian handmade in New Mexico, USA, this Sugilite Pendant features the Native American Jewelry hallmark “Verdy J.” and is stamped Sterling.
The stone measures : 1 1/4 inches long X 1/2 inch wide. The pendant total length is 2 1/2 inches long ( including the bale ) X 7/8 inch wide.
