Two Stone Victorian Fusion Sugilite and Deep Blue Bisbee Turquoise Ring by John Hartman. This is definitely a work of art, as are most of John's pieces. This ring focuses on a top gem grade cabochon of Deep Blue Bisbee Turquoise and a "Gel" grade Royal Purple cabochon of Sugilite. These are the quintessential examples of each stone, absolutely top grade. These two show-stoppers are surrounded by repose Victorian fern designs, raindrops and stamp work. This is set atop the signature Hartman heavy, graduated, sunburst design shank. Artisan handmade in Durango, Colorado USA and stamped "Durango Silver .925".
The top ( Sugilite ) stone measures : 11.98mm long X 10.36mm wide. The bottom stone ( Bisbee Turquoise ) measures : 17.04mm long X 13.27mm wide. The ring weighs 23 grams and the shank is 1.99mm thick X 5.57mm wide. The ring is a size 9.
