This AUTHENTIC vintage, bright blue, natural Villa Grove Turquoise Cluster Bracelet is signed by Leonard and Lula Weebothee, famous Zuni Jewelry artisans. This bracelet is from the 1950s and includes the original pawn tag from the Fort Defiance Trading Post. This wonderful Navajo cluster or "Petite Point" Turquoise bracelet features 48 hand cut natural blue Villa Grove Turquoise cabochons from Colorado. Each of these authentic Colorado Turquoise cabochons is set in a serrated sterling silver bezel. This is all set atop a classic four prong Native American sterling silver cuff bracelet. This fine Weebothee Zuni Turquoise Cluster Bracelet would be a great addition to any Vintage Turquoise Jewelry or Navajo Jewelry collection. This Navajo Turquoise bracelet was Native American handmade and is signed Leonard and Lula Weebothee Zuni, New Mexico in scribbled cursive which was done with a scribbing tool which one of the best ways to tell this is a genuine Weebothee piece.
The Weebothee's are generally considered to be among the top silversmiths and lapidary artisans to have come out of the Zuni Pueblo. The Weebothee's work spanned 4 decades starting in the 1940's (before electricity arrived in the Zuni Pueblo). The original Weebothee family Lee and Mary Weebothee are considered the most collectible and prices for their piece reach up to the 10,000.00 range per piece. The Lee and Mary trained Leonard and Lulu in the art of jewelry making.
The Weebothee's early work with hand tools is considered their finest by most collectors, especially pieces made with coin silver which is 90% silver and 10% copper.

This bracelet is a size 6.5. The top of the bracelet is 2.5 inches wide at the widest point. All the Colorado Turquoise gemstones are natural and were hand cut by the artists.
