Fort Defiance Trading Post Collection - Navajo Stamped Bangle Bracelet
This Antique Navajo Stamped Bracelet was made around 1950, it has old Navajo repose and stampwork. The frame is of a light to medium weight Silver that was hand cut and formed by a Navajo Silversmith, he filed it to get the final length and width desired to make this bracelet. He hand stamped a design onto the Silver that has three repose (domed) elongated diamond shapes with repose fluted domes and then outline with a line stamp and then border stamping.
