Villa Grove Turquoise
Villa Grove Turquoise is one of the most beautiful types of Blue Turquoise that was ever mined in the United States. The blues are so
brilliant they are shockingly bright and with the golden brown to chocolate brown matrix – this is some of the most beautiful Turquoise on earth.
The Villa Grove Mine began producing Turquoise in the 1920’s and it is believed the Native American Indians found this Turquoise many, many
years prior to that. The mine produced a fair amount of Turquoise for the Trade in the 1950’s – 1970’s when the going got to rough, finding
Turquoise. This mine is about to be reopened and we are hoping to see some good blue Turquoise coming out, cross your fingers. Durango
Silver Company will have Villa Grove Turquoise if it materializes.
