James Denihoso Turquoise Bolo Tie
This is a very nice Vintage Native American Indian Bolo Tie, made approximately
1970. It was made by a well known Navajo Silversmith, James Denihoso - the Denihoso
family is well known for its many great Silversmiths. This is a classic example
of a historic Navajo Silver style, shadowbox, from the 1950 to the 1990 era.
The Silver stampwork intricate, yet not over powering - it is a classy Vintage
Navajo Bolo Tie.
Nevada Turquoise Shadowbox Bolo Tie
The blue/green Nevada Turquoise set in this shadowbox Bolo Tie is a perfect
fit for this period of Navajo Turquoise Jewelry. The Denihoso's used a lot of
blue/green Nevada Turquoise in their Silver Jewelry and this natural Turquoise
stone has been taken well care of as it is a beautiful piece of Turquoise. The
shadowbox setting along with this stone is a great pair and it would be a great
choice for a Native American Indian Bolo.
The Bolo measures: 2 3/4 inches long X 2 inches wide. The stone measures : 1 inch long X 1/2 inch wide. Leather 37 inches long and weighs 52 grams.
