    Oval Spiderweb Kingman Turquoise Cabochon

This is a rare Turquoise gemstone that is seldom seen available for purchase. It is very high quality and a collector’s item, not your typical production cut Turquoise stone. This cabochon was hand cut from the highest quality Kingman Turquoise that is found in small deposits of uncommon Spiderwebbed material, again, it is not standard Turquoise that is mined on a day to day basis! Generally speaking, a Turquoise Mine produces a standard color and quality of Turquoise that is mined and sold to the market. Occasionally, in the mining process the miners run into an uncommon vein or deposit of rich material that has unusually high quality material and this is called high-grade. This Turquoise is carefully removed from the deposit and immediately taken away for safe keeping. The mine owner has customers ready to pay top dollar for high-grade material and most often it just take a phone call to sell their prized goods. Durango Silver Company has been in the Turquoise business for over four decades and are active in the Turquoise marketplace. Miners as well as Turquoise cabochon cutters know to call John and Dillon Hartman to sell their high-grade Turquoise as they are known buyers. We use high quality Turquoise in our Jewelry and now we are offering it to our customers for their own purposes.
