Old Style Native American Turquoise Belt Buckle
Old style sterling silver Native American Turquoise Belt Buckle by Navajo artist Martha Cyantentito. Vibrant blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons encircle a spider web Tibetan Turquoise cabochon atop of this Sandcast style silver belt buckle. Seventeen oval Sleeping Beauty Turquoise cabochons and one rectangular Tibetan Turquoise cabochon encrust this western style sterling silver Native American Turquoise Belt Buckle. The western belt buckle was made by hand carving the design out of a Tufa stone and then pouring molten silver into the design, this is a classic Navajo Jewelry technique. Later the 18 American Turquoise cabochons bezels were added to the belt buckle and the blue American Turquoise was set last. This Native American Turquoise Belt Buckle is nice and heavy duty and would be a fabulous addition to any silver jewelry or Turquoise jewelry collection. Proudly Native American handmade in New Mexico, this Native American Turquoise Belt Buckle is hallmarked "MC and sterling".
