This ring is adorned with an aqua blue, forest green water web, Broken Arrow Turquoise freeform stone. Handmade in Durango, Colorado USA and stamped "Durango Silver .925 and J. Hartman". The stone 27.30mm long X 19.76mm wide. The The ring weighs 17 grams and the shank is 2.03mm thick. The ring is a size 9 3/4. Broken Arrow is known as Variscite but is commonly called Green Nevada Turquoise by jewelers and collectors alike. The miner does not sell Broken Arrow as Turquoise. There is a debate among gemologists and Turquoise cutters whether this stone is Turquoise or Variscite. Either way, this is a beautiful, natural, American gemstone.
