Elk Ivory Pendant
A finely aged Ivory bugler tooth from a healthy bull elk is encased by beautiful carved Elk Antlers in this Sterling Silver Elk Ivory Pendant by John Hartman. In our part of the country Elk hunting is a serious way of life and we believe that if you are going to take the life of a beautiful creature you should use every part. Responsible hunters of all race and creed have adapted this belief from the Native Americans. The bugler tooth use in this beautiful Elk Ivory Pendant is solid Ivory and has some amazing caramel patterning. We simple buffed the tooth smooth and cut the root off to make it suitable for modern silver jewelry. John Hartman then took the Elk Tooth and built this sterling silver Elk Ivory Pendant around it. The Ivory is held into this dynamic pendant or amulet by carved elk antlers. The silver amulet is then decorated with Victoria designs similar to those that used to be carved in the wood of a fine head mount such as in a castle of a prize Elk. The silver pendant is hung from a custom bale that features a hand carved bugling Elk. The bale can handle a fairly large change. This fine Elk Ivory pendant would be a great addition or start to any Men’s or Women’s handmade jewelry collection. We can make this pendant with your Elk Ivory, call 970-375-2401 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org for details. Artisan handmade in Durango, Colorado USA, this Silver Amulet features the hallmark “Durango Silver .925 and J. Hartman”.
