Lost wax style contemporary bright red Rosarita sterling silver pendant by Crystal Hartman. This unique sterling silver pendant focuses on a freeform cut cabochon of Rosarita Glass. Rosarita glass is a byproduct of the old way that fold was extracted from its host rock. This process is no longer used, so this glass is rare and hard to find, especially with nice patterning. This great stone is wrapped in lost wax designs that mimic tree or plant roots. This pendant was artisan handmade in Durango, Colorado USA and is stamped “Durango Silver .925”.
The stone measures : 29.66mm long X 20.15mm wide. The pendant weighs 14 grams. Total length is 1 1/2" long ( including the bale ) X 1" wide.
