 Product Description

This is a beautiful Sterling Silver Pendant with a very large Broken Arrow Turquoise gemstone from Nevada USA. This piece was created by John Hartman of Durango Silver Company. John is an accomplished Silver and Goldsmith that has won numerous awards for his outstanding work and is known worldwide for his unique quality pieces of Silver and Gold Jewelry with a Southwestern and Victorian style of Silverwork. This is a beautiful Sterling Silver Pendant that is of contemporary design in Sterling Silver with a generously large gorgeous green Turquoise Gemstone from the Broken Arrow Mine of Nevada USA. You will love this piece and it should become a family heirloom.

The stone measures : 1 1/2 inches long X 1 inch wide. The pendant weighs 23 grams. Total length is 2 3/4 inches long ( including the bale ) X 1 1/8 inches wide. Broken Arrow is known as Variscite but is commonly called Green Nevada Turquoise by jewelers and collectors alike. The miner does not sell Broken Arrow as Turquoise. There is a debate among gemologists and Turquoise cutters whether this stone is Turquoise or Variscite. Either way, this is a beautiful, natural, American gemstone.
