Bisbee Turquoise – Dillon and John Hartman have just finished cutting a great selection of Bisbee Turquoise cabochons and Dillon is putting them up online for your consideration.

Nattarika will also be putting up new Bisbee Turquoise Jewelry as we are making up many great stones into Bisbee Turquoise Pendants.

Bisbee Turquoise has a wide range of color from a beautiful light sky blue to a deep dark midnight blue which is very rare and seldom scene. Beautiful green colors are also found in Bisbee Turquoise and some rare occurrences of blue and green combinations in the same stone. Bisbee Turquoise is known for it’s chocolate brown matrix, however, red colored spider webbed matrix is also found, but rarely. Bisbee Turquoise Pendants by Durango Silver Company

Natural Bisbee Turquoise

Bisbee Turquoiseis well known as being one of the most valuable and important types of Turquoise in the world. Durango Silver Company has one of the largest collections of Bisbee Turquoise in the world and will be producing a large variety of Bisbee Turquoise Pendants in 2011.

Bisbee Turquoise Pendantsfrom Durango Silver Company are made with authentic natural Bisbee Turquoisefrom the Bisbee Mine in Bisbee, Arizona. This mine has been closed since the late 1970′s and the only Turquoise that has been coming out of the mine since has been from thieves or from individuals that have went to the annual lavender pit tour held once a year for the Bisbee Rock and Mineral Club.

Bisbee Turquoise is very rare yet it can still be found by individual Jewelers in the southwesternregions of the U.S. who have had the fortune of obtaining old stashes of the gemstone. John and Dillon Hartman of Durango Silver Company have been blessed as Bob Mathews (the main and original legal Minors) lived in Durango and we purchased the balance of his partners, (Brother-in-law – Cecil Mickelson), rough Bisbee Turquoise.  Our collection of Bisbee Turquoise is extensive and we are presently cutting a large amount of rough to put into Bisbee Turquoise Pendants in 2011.
