Morenci Turquoise cabochons from Arizona

Morenci Turquoise is one of America's most beautiful types of Turquoise from the past, it was mined in southeastern Arizona. The Morenci Turquoise Mine produced some of the finest Turquoise that has ever come out of the ground! It is high to light sky blue in color. The Morenci Turquoise mine produced Turquoise with a wonderful "Birdseye" or "Water Web" matrix pattern, beautiful iron pyrite that looks like Silver and black iron spiderweb matrix. It has become difficult to obtain now because the mine stopped producing Turquoise in the late 1970's.
