Black Onyx and Sugilite Bead Necklace Featuring an Elegant Two Stone, Large, Natural Sugilite and Black Onyx Filigree Sterling Silver Pendant by John Hartman. This wonderful Bead Necklace consists of two strands of round Black Onyx and Deep Purple Sugilite, strung on "fox tail" (steel wire coated in Teflon) and finished with a custom sterling silver floral toggle. The beads were hand strung by Nattarika Hartman of Durango, Colorado. These beads hold a one of a kind, filigree pendant that features a teardrop of Natural Black Onyx and a freeform HUGE cabochon of Natural High Grade Grape Purple Sugilite from the Wessel's mine in South Africa. These stones are surrounded by fancy filigree designs made of raindrops, wire and repose work. Super classy and unique. This would be a great piece of Sugilite jewelry to add to any sterling silver jewelry collection. Artisan handmade in Durango, Colorado USA and stamped Durango Silver Co., J. Hartman and .925.

The necklace is 19" long and weighs 81 grams. The pendant measures : 3 1/4" long ( including the bale ) X 1 1/4" wide. The top stone ( Black Onyx ) measures : 14. 85mm long X 9.48mm wide. The bottom stone ( Sugilite ) measures : 37.03mm long X 21.80mm wide.
