Feather Design Black Onyx and Opal Inlay Band Ring
Formal colors, predominately black and wihte, this wide Sterling Silver band ring will go with any outfit. This American Indian Jewelry artisan handmade band ring by Kenneth Bitsie is the shape of a cigar band. Kenneth kept the silver work on this women's Black Onyx and Opal Inlay Band Ring very simple to highlight the intricate gemstone inlay work. To each side of the inlay pattern the ring features simple horizontal stamped and chased water drop ring designs. The stone pattern in the Black Onyx and Opal Inlay Band Ring is very unique and intricate. This pattern is called a "feather pattern" and mimics the look of stacked feathers in a chiefs headdress. This mosaic pattern features a central design of vertically inlaid feathers of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Fire Opal, and White Buffalo, which is flanked on either side by Sterling Silver inlays and Black Onyx. The shape of the mosaic stone inlay is an oval and was cut to have a dome which gives the ring more dimension. Bitsie even domed the bezel in this Inlay Band Ring for women to give the piece a really smooth and comfortable feel. Handmade in New Mexico, USA, this multicolored inlay ring features the Navajo Jewelry hallmark "Kenneth Bitsie" and is stamped Sterling.
