Turquoise Beads have been made in the Southwestern U.S. for over a thousand years. Native
American Indians of the Southwest cherished Turquoise and Beads were the first form of Jewelry that the American Indians made with Turquoise.
Today, Turquoise Beads are more popular than ever! Durango Silver Co acquires high quality authentic Turquoise beads, both old and new, and creates wearable artistic Turquoise Bead Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings with them. We often trade with the Santo Domingo Indians as they make beautiful Turquoise Beads and Jewelry items with the beads they make.
We own and/or are partners in several Turquoise Mines in Nevada. When we mine Turquoise, we sort it for bead material and for Turquoise cabbing material. We have a lot of our Turquoise made into Turquoise Beads for the market as well as for us to have unique Turquoise Beads that nobody else has.
