Vintage Native American Cerrillos Turquoise Ring
Take a look at this classic piece of Native American Turquoise Jewelry from the 1930s. A wonderful example of why we all love Silver and Turquoise Jewelry, this Antique Cerrillos Turquoise Ring focuses on a top grade natural Cerrillos Turquoise cabochon. This natural American Turquoise cabochon from Cerrillos, New Mexico outside of Madrid, NM is a beautiful deep green color. The Cerrillos Turquoise claims are some of the oldest known Turquoise mines in the Southwest and were mined by Anasazi Indians. This beautiful oval shaped Turquoise cabochon is set in a Sterling Silver bezel and then surrounded by a rope or cable design. This ring is in excellent condition and it is hard to tell it was worn except for the wear and tear evident in the natural Turquoise cabochon. We did not repair or tamper with the Turquoise stone and the ring is sold as is. This Antique Cerrillos Turquoise Ring is in mint condition and is an exquisite example of pre-tourist trade American Indian Jewelry. It is hard to find pieces of vintage Turquoise jewelry this fine these days as people loved them so much most of these pieces are worn out. This Cerrillos Turquoise ring features a classic two prong silver ring band. The Antique Turquoise Ring for women appears to have a Native American Jewelry hallmark that was scratched into it, but it is hard to make out.
