A very nice Vintage Concho Belt that came from the Fred Harvey Trading Post at the Grand Canyon in the late 1950’s. The lady I got it from worked there for the summer season and took this belt as part of her pay. It is a classic Navajo style with beautiful high dome repose work so it is very bold and attractive. This is also a heavy concho belt for its size as it was made out of thick Sterling Silver plate.
This concho belt, with the leather is: 41 inches long and can be made to fit any waist as small as 35 inches. The belt buckle measures 2 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Each concho is 2 1/4 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. Each Turquoise cabochon is approx. 11.15mm wide by 7.95mm tall. Each of the bows measure : 1 inch wide. by 1 3/4 inches tall.
