This is an absolute one-of-a-kind Azurite Necklace created in 14k Gold by Crystal Hartman of Durango, Colorado USA. Crystal's work is a marvel that you will appreciate in modern art, it is actually an ancient form of Jewelry creation, she took the 65 carat Morenci Azurite gemstone and layer by layer created a master wax model – she then put the wax carving in jewelers investment and used a burnout oven to melt the wax out and then replaced the wax with 14k gold. It is really a spectacular piece and the Morenci Azurite is a very rare gemstone that came out of the mine in the 1970’s. Our good friend Bruce Mead of Bisbee, Arizona purchased the rock from the miner’s ancestors and cut the stone, it is a beauty as it has floral sprays of Malachite in a sea of cobalt blue Azurite – a spectacular and rare gemstone of unmatched quality! Seriously! - A Spectacular Morenci Azurite Necklace in 14k Gold!
